puzzles. i love puzzles. of many kinds. i used to play with them all the time when i was little. i liked them so much that i wouldn't mind doing the same one (or ones) over and over. it got so that i could look at a piece and instantly recognize where it was supposed to go and what should be next to it. one of the coolest things about puzzles is that as you put pieces together, you begin to see small glimpses of the final picture. for example, my little mermaid puzzle... a rock there, a fin there, a tail at the bottom, and flounder and sebastian on the side. finally you finish the puzzle get to admire the picture as a whole.
and why am i talking about puzzles randomly on my blog in the first post i've written in almost a month? because i saw this today:
it's awesome looking back and seeing how everything pieces together
but then..at the same time
it's also exciting thinking about the future, and how the final puzzle will look
--who said this?
in my friend's profile. and that reminded me of puzzles... real puzzles that i love to solve and put together, and how from our perspective... we are a part of a big, intricate puzzle that will be beautiful in the end... but for the time being we have only glimpses of the big picture.... just like when i was little and making puzzles. and the final image when the grand puzzle is done will indeed be an amazing masterpiece such as we cannot imagine.
